Nationals

The Nationals this year were held at the Big E in West Springfield,
Mass. located 128 miles from our house. I dropped Patti and 9
animals (8 milkers and a dry yearling) on Saturday July 28th. and
picked them back up on Saturday Aug 4th. I made a couple trips
during the week to help out with the grade milkout and see the
Saanen show. There were a total of 1243 animals and 162 exibitors
from all over the country.

The Results: Recorded Grade Classes - 2 Year Old Mikers Stella -
8th. place. 5 and 6 Year Old Mikers Bambi - 7th. place and Angel -
9th. place.

Saanen Classes - Senior Yearling Journey - 8 th. place. 2 Year Old
Milkers Minnie Pearl - 10th. place. 3 Year Old Mikers Joy - 8th. place
and Blossom 12th. place. 4 Year Old Mikers Pearl - 6th. place. 5 and
6 Year Old Mikers Lily - 9th. place.

Saanen Group Classes - Best 3 Senior Does Pearl, Joy and
Blossom - 5th. place. Produce of Dam (Lily) Pearl and Blossom - 2nd.
place. Dam and Daughter Lily and Pearl - 5th.place.

We would like to thank Karen Doucette for heping out during the
week and Tom Cox for showing Pearl and Lily. Also would like to
thank all the great people we met there for making it a great week.
