2004 Show Season

After Nationals we only went to 3 fall shows this
year and here are the highlights.
Cumberland County Fair - Cumberland Maine:
Jr. Kids - Image was 1st., White Satin was 2nd., abd Token was 3rd. Dry Yearlings - Glory was 1st. and Swansong was 2nd. Yearling Milkers - Sapphire was 1st. 2 to 3 year Old Milkers - White Linen was 1st. and Lily's Legacy was 2nd.
3 to 5 Year Old Milkers - Destiny was 1st. and also
Grand Champion, Best of Breed, and Best Udder of Breed. Aged Milkers - Joy was 1st., Minnie Pearl was 2nd., and Blossom was 3rd. Champion Challenge - Destiny was 1st. and Journey was 2nd. We also had 1st. place Dam and Daughter (Blossom and Linen), 1st. place Produce of Dam (Pearly Girl) and 1st. place Dairy Herd.
The Big E - West Springfield, Mass.: Premier
Saanen Breeder and Premier Saanen Exhibitor. Jr. Kids - 1st. place and Res. Grand Champion was Chiffon (owned by the Foxes) and Image was 2nd. place. Dry Yearling - Swansong was 1st. and Grand Champion. 1st. place Jr. Get of Sire (Snowstorm). Yearling Milkers - Sapphire was 1st. and Res. Grand Champion. 2 to 3 Year Old Milkers - Linen was 3rd. 3 to 5 year Old Milkers - Journey was 2nd. and Destiny was 4th. Aged Milkers - Joy was 2nd. 1st. place Produce of Dam (Pearly Girl) and 2nd. place Herd.
Topsfield Fair - Topsfield, Mass.: Jr. Kids - 1st.
place Magnolia (owned by Helena Hayden), 2nd. place Chiffon (owned by the Foxes) and Image was 3rd. place. Dry Yearling - Windsong (owned by Helena Hayden) was 1st. and Jr. Grand Champion, Swansong was 2nd., and Glory was 3rd. 1st. place Jr. Get of Sire and Best 3 Jr. does. Yearling Milkers - Sapphire was 1st. 2 to 3 Year Old Milkers - Linen was 2nd. 3 to 5 year Old Milkers - Destiny was 1st. Aged Milkers - Joy was 1st. and Grand Champion (as a 6yr. old 5th. freshener), Minnie was 2nd. and Blossom was 3rd. Champion Challenge - Journey was 1st. (Best of Breed and Best Udder of Breed) and Joy was 2nd. 1st. place Produce of Dam (Pearly Girl) Best 3 Senior Does.
It was a great pleasure to see some of the kids
we sold this year to Helena Hayden and the Fox family ( Mary and Dan Fox, Linda Milliken and her daughters Briana and Marisa) do so well in the show ring.
