2004 Nationals

The National Show was held in Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania July 10 -17, 2004. We left Newbury
around 8:00 am and arrived in Harrisburg a little
after 5:30 pm (455 miles). We took 8 milkers and
2 dry yearlings with us.

There were a total of 245 Saanens judged (111
juniors and 134 senior does).

In the Yearling Milkers Sapphire placed 6th.

In the 4 Year Old Milkers Destiny placed 10th.
and Journey placed 11th. (the Grand and Reserve
Champions were both out of this class).

In the 5 & 6 Year Old Milkers Joy placed 13th.,
Minnie Pearl placed 16th., and Blossom was 17th.

During the week ADGA holds a raffle for 6 doe
kids (one of each breed) donated by top
breeders. We bought a few chances for the
Saanen kid and low and behold we won her. She
is a lovely kid bred and donated by Todd Biddle.
Royal Colors WMT Token is fitting in great with
our herd.

It was a great week seeing old friends and
meeting new ones from all over the country.
