2003 Show

We had another great show season this year going
to 7 shows. We showed all Saanens except for
Honey Bun who is our Experimental LaMancha. Here
are the highlights.

Southern Vermont Dairy Goat Show - Marlboro, VT:
Journey was Sr. Res. Grand Champion and White
Linen was Jr. Grand Champion.

Barnstable County Fair - Falmouth, Mass: Journey
was Sr. Grand Champion and Lily was Sr. Res. Grand
Champion. Honey Bun was Sr. Grand Champion
Recorded Grade.

Washington County Fair - Rhode Island: Journey was
Sr. Grand Champion and White Linen was Jr. Grand
Champion. Honey Bun was Sr. Grand Champion
Recorded Grade.

Rochester Fair - Rochester, NH: Journey was Sr.
Best Doe in Show, Sr.Grand Champion and White
Linen was Jr. Grand Champion. Joy's Windsong
(owned by Helena Hayden) was Jr. Res. Grand
Champion. Honey Bun was Sr. Res. Grand Champion.

Cumberland County Fair - Cumberland, Maine:
Journey was Sr. Grand Champion and White Linen
was Jr. Grand Champion. Honey Bun was Sr. Grand
Champion Recorded Grade.

The Big E - West Springfield, Mass: Premier Saanen
Breeder. In the Senior Show Journey was 1st. Place
3-5 Year Olds, Joy was 2nd. Place Aged Does. In the
Junior Show Sundance was 1st. Jr. Doeling, Joy's
Swansong was 1st. Intermediate Doeling and
Sapphire was 2nd. Senior doeling. White Linen was
2nd. Place Yearling.

Topsfield Fair - Topsfield, Mass. (2 Days): Day one
was a Senior and Junior Show. Joy was Sr. Grand
Champion, Journey was Sr. Res. Grand Champion
and White Linen was Jr. Grand Champion. Day two
was just a Junior Show and Linen was Res. Grand
Champion.
