2000 Show Season

We had a great 2000 Show Season going to 7 shows. Montgomery-Park
Pearly Girl (Pearl) made Permanent Grand Champion with a Best Doe in
Show at Rochester and Best of Breed at The Big-E. The entire herd had a
great year also with a lot of top placings.

GCH Montgomery-Park Pearly Girl 6*M 4x GCH 1x ResCH 1x BDIS 2x
BUOB 1x BOB. All these wins were in heavily sanctioned shows. At
Rochester Fair Pearl took GCH,Best Udder of Breed and Best Doe in
Show. At Eastern States with Saanens being the 2nd most heavily
sanctioned breed Pearl took GCH, Best Udder of Breed, and Best of Breed
against some great competition. A special thanks goes out to Charlotte
Sankey for her superb handling of Pearl (the stubborn one).

Pheasant-M Regal Lily 5*M (Pearl's Dam) 1x GCH 1x Res.CH. Lily placed
well all show season taking 3 firsts in Dam and Daughter with Pearl and at
Eastern States her produce took first place. Lily will also easily milk over
3,000 lbs. this lactation. We are very proud of her accomplishments.

Montgomery-Park Minnie Pearl (Pearl's daughter). 1x GCH 1x Res CH
(with 18 junior does in show) 3rd in class at Eastern States.

Montgomery-Park Lily's Blossom (Lily's daughter). Placed 2nd in class at
Topsfield Fair and often placed 2nd behind Joy in the 2-3 year old milking
classes. Blossom was part of the first place Produce of Dam at Eastern
States.

Pheasant-M Angelique 3*M (our Top Ten Grade Saanen). Placed
consistently well often 3rd or 4th in highly competitive recorded grade
classes. She placed 4th at Eastern States. Angel is projected to milk over
3,000 lbs. again this lactation.

Montgomery-Park Angel's Joy (Angel's daughter). Despite a slightly
uneven mammary Joy placed extremely well in the 2-3 year old milker's
classes. Placing 1st twice, and 3rd twice ,and the highlight being her
second place finish at Eastern States in a class of 15 milkers.

Ilneva-Farm Comanche's Bambi 3*M (Our experimental). Bambi placed
extremely well all season either taking 3rd or 4th. She placed 3rd at
Eastern States with some great competition.

Montgomery-Park Stella D'Oro (Bambi's daughter). Placed 1st in her class
at Topsfield and 3rd and 4th the rest of the season against strong
competition.

Our kids Montgomery-Park Journey, Joy's Jubilee, Destiny, Nutmeg and
Ginger placed well in their classes all season. We are proud of them all.

It was a pleasure to share this show season with so many great people.
